Is a dynamic action shooting competition to push your skills but mostly to have some fun.

North Cotes Butts 3 gun, as the names suggests, is a multi discipline, multi gun shooting experience.

Firstly it is important to say that this is a club level competition.

We are not affiliated to any existing shooting group, organisation or governing body.

The guidelines for events are clearly defined by our team and the management at NCB.

We have, over the last few years, evolved so please read the revised guidelines, which are available on request.

Safety is paramount and all stages are checked and cleared in line with H&S and the club officials.

What you need to know.

The two main things we promote are safety and fun.

This competition is open to FAC club members.

Please Note there are NO club guns available, all shooters must have their own kit.

What you will need.

.22lr LBP (long barrel pistol) + magazines 10rds (max 3)

.22lr Semi-auto rifle + magazines 20rds (max 4)

12g multi shot shotgun

Any other stage specific firearms will be provided.

Any other stage that requires other equipment you will be notified well in advance of the events i.e knee pads for example;

Equipment wise, you will also need some level of belt order or the like to carry your magazines and shotgun cartridges.

Tactical vests are not permitted, nor are the use of holsters or lasers.

The use of Eye protection is compulsory. Ear protection is advised but not enforced. (Personally I don't use ear protection when shooting 22lr, but I do when it comes to 12g)/

Some of our more dynamic stages can involve a level of physicality, moving and shooting, kneeling to standing are relatively common place so please bare this in mind during your choice of your load baring kit. Knee pads are quite useful.

This is a non-profit event so there will be a small charge of £5 per shooter to cover the cost of the shoot i.e Targets and any materials required.

To avoid disappointment please don’t come with any preconceived ideas.

We can’t stress enough this is a club competition and should be viewed as a seriously fun event.
